It Has Been A Tragic Few Years In America. Polarizing, Deadly, Heart-Wrenching. We Have Written Many Books And Blogs, As You Can See From Perusing Our Site, But For The Last Couple Of Years, After Hearing Too Many “N**Ger” Filled Rants In Appomattox, We Have Been Focused On The History Of Lynching—I.E., The Extra-Judicial Killing Of Innocent Persons. And Yes, That Has Morphed Into The Examination Of Blacks Killed At The Hands Of Police Officers Who Fail To Follow Procedure, And Who Use Excessive Force. As The Daughter Of An Air Force Officer Who Is Buried In Arlington Cemetery, I Cannot Emphasize Enough That This Has Nothing To Do With Cop-Haters. Just As My Father, A Military Man, Taught Me The Horrors Of War, I Truly Believe That The Nearly One Million Police Officers Who Risk Their Lives Daily To Serve And Protect Find Police Brutality As Abhorrent I Do. This Is A Logical Extension Of The Very Honor And Compassion Which Led Them To Become Police In The First Place. I Will Be Writing More On This Particular Subject In The Coming Days, As Our Prayers Are With Ashley Guindon’s Family, And With Her Two Wounded Colleagues.
